Excellent good. Never had a bad thing there. If you're hungry, the rice platters are quite plentiful.
Oh My goodness! Yum! I’ll drive from Wilmington to have one of there sandwiches. Please try the TOFU Bánh MI with the sriracha sauce! Melts in your mouth! The Pickled Carrots were a first for me.I love the music they play. The people working there are always very polite. You’ll leave with a smile.
Selections are delicious, refreshing and affordable especially on a hot day like today. We ordered two vegan friendly tofu banh mi with a Peace Tea to share and tofu summer rolls which cost less than $20. Service is fast and friendly. The owner is usually there and he is the nicest man. The restroom is unisex and always clean.
I seriously love this place! The lemongrass tofu Hahn mi is awesome and I’ve yet to eat something here that disappoints. The staff is always very friendly. Especially the owner, he is so nice and always greets you like you are an old friend. I live 30 minutes away and still find myself driving over here after moving away from Newark just because I miss these sandwiches. Definitely would recommend ( and have recommended to many people)!
The menu here is nice and simple-- banh mi, the same ingredients served on rice, spring rolls, and a few appetizers, vietnamese coffee served hot or cold. The restaurant is small and clean. The food was good and reasonably priced. It seems like you could make it your regular lunch place.
So much yum. Vegan options. Super friendly staff.
The banh mi was pretty good. A little under 7 dollars for a sandwich that doesn't really fill you up and with no sides. In Texas, the banh mi's are about half the price and better tasting.
Best lunch spot on Main St. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is exceptional.
One of my wife's favorite Newark restaurants. I especially like the bubble smoothies.
Delicious roast pork banh mi. The bread is fabulous. Pork belly and garlic tofu also good (but roast pork was my personal favorite). Iced coffee was very yummy. Daughter tried the bubble smoothie (strawberry), she enjoyed it quite a bit. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar at the window for people watching (good for those dining solo). You order/ pay at the counter and the folks prepare the food and bring it to you in little plastic baskets. You bus your own tables. Prices are very reasonable. Off street parking is convenient and well marked, accessible next to the restaurant.
I had a tasty roast pork sandwich, and Vietnamese style coffee. Both were very good, sandwich roll was crispy on the outside, soft inside, good amount of heat and pickled veg. It was a decent portion, but don’t expect to be full. Atmosphere was a little wanting, a bit cold and quiet. Coffee was very good, traditional Vietnamese drip/very strong almost espresso, with sweetened condensed milk.
Amazing Bahn Mi (Vietnamese sandwich on french bread) All the ingredients are very fresh, but what really ties it together is the awesome baguettes. If you go, get a bubble tea smoothie! I've been up and down the coast, never found one better.
Best Vietnamese sandwiches in the area! I was a few cents short of my purchase and they took what I had without hesitation. I love this place
Had the original banh mi, it's quite faithful to a traditional banh mi, for which I was thankful. If you're in the mood for something new, I strongly suggest this eatery as a nice, which she's as an excellent quick lunch option.
Unique Taste, Quality Ingredients, a bit expensive for the portion size. If you are looking for something different, and aren't looking for a big heavy meal, this is a satisfying light lunch spot.
Love this cute restaurant. Survives is amazing and friendly. :)
One of my favorite places on main street. I've had almost everything, but my favorites are the pork belly and Vietnamese sausage. The owner is really cool and remembers you after a few visits.
Great atmosphere, amazing food, friendly staff, clean restrooms, traditional bahn mi sandwiches. Will be coming back over and over. Edit: just went back a month later, still amazing, taste is absurdly good. Included pictures of the garlic bean curd bahn mi this time.
Really good food! Authentic and fresh Vietnamese street style. Very quiet inside with no music and fast WiFi, so a quiet place to study.
Sarah eats the vegetarian and I have the pork. Fantastic. When she has work I sometimes take her one for her break.
